Hellings Elementary School is located in the central part of North Delta and serves a very diverse community of students. The school is a pod-designed school that has most of the standard features of an elementary school including a full-size gym, and library. Classrooms have access to MacBook laptops, LCD projectors and iPads. Currently, the school houses about 330 students from Kindergarten to Grade Seven. 

A vast array of programs are offered at Hellings including Out of School Care (morning and afterschool) and full time daycare through Butterflies Children’s Learning Centre Daycare, StrongStart, Full Day Kindergarten, E.L.L., ERIP, blended Learning Support program. The school has a teaching and support staff of 30 and 11 E.A.’s.  The school has very positive parent support and has a strong group of Parent Advisory Council members who are committed to providing leadership and funding opportunities to meet the needs of the school community.
